An Undying Legacy
DAPITAN – As part of the continuing legacy that Access Computer College imposes to its students in lieu to sports, Sportsfest 2009 opening remarks took place last February 18 at around 8:00 in the morning at the Dapitan Sports Complex.
Sporting event like this is given priority by the school officials to encourage students to venture into sports aside from studying, it is also a means of detracting students from inclining themselves towards smoking, gambling and possible drug addiction.
The purpose of this event is to gather students’ athletes and non-athletes from different branches of Access for the camaraderie and sharing of sporting prowess.
Ms. Cherrie Sison and Mr. Peter Tagab acted as the host of the said program, during the opening ceremony. ACCESS President Romeo Zarate gave inspirational message to the athletes, which we think is very viable for every competing students to boost their spirits and ego as the competition proper begins.
