February 18 marked the opening of ACCESS Computer College Sportsfest 2009 at around 8:00 in the morning at the Dapitan Sports Complex.

Event like this is given priority by the school officials to encourage students to venture into sports aside from studying. ACCESS President Romeo Zarate gave inspirational message to the athletes to boost their ego and spirits as the competition proper began. Ms. Cherrie Sison and Mr. Peter Tagab acted as the host of the said program, during the opening ceremony.
