Access Battle of the Bands is an annual event that is part of the extracurricular activities of Access Computer & Business Colleges for its students, an event where youth and music merges into an artistic, harmonious blend. Way back in 1997, Access Battle of the Bands was born when personnel of Access and our very own President, Romeo T. Zarate started to stage their musical inclination which  eventually becomes official as the formal competition was held in Access Manila. It is also celebrated the next year.

Music and enthusiastic minds cannot be put to a halt. So it was resumed in October of 2004, this time,  became the Inter-Branch Competition wherein Cubao Aurora, Cubao Edsa, Caloocan and Manila displayed their prowess in music and at the same time battled it out to take home the prize. The event was then held at Amoranto Multi-Purpose Hall where it housed almost 500 viewers with Pineapple Crunch as guest band performer, the first special guest band for the resurrected event.

Moreover, the outrage for fun, hip and groove just keep growing, so in 2005 Access inter-branch Battle of the Bands in cooperation with Metrobar, West Avenue made an ultimate stand-out which packed 1200 viewers with special guests, Cueshe. We kept on grooving in 2006 as 6 cycle mind rocked the stage as our guest band along with two of the country's top caliber comedians. It broke all previous Access Battle of the bands records and it is only getting started...

And now on it's fourth year, Access continues to rock at Metrobar now not only with one special guest but two! Yes, for the first time, Access will have 2 very specia guest bands. First, the promising music of Lala, the lady singer which encompasses melodic tunes and light-hearted lytics and second, the popular yet young group, Callalily, which by this time had accumulated a massive fanbase endearing them with such hits like "Stars", "Magbalik ", "Take my hand" and "Pasan". They also accompanied by the usual Stand ups that will surely knock your hearts off, laughing. Battle of the bands 2007 will be held this September 28, 2007, 1 - 5pm at Metrobar, West avenue.
